I use the Pilates small equipment, which consists of the Band, the Small soft Ball, the Pilates ring and the Foam Roller. These are used to enhance and move to make your body work harder or can be used to modify a move to help make it easier for joints and muscles. I am qualified from the National Training Centre, Dublin, with the Pilates Institute Ireland. I am fully qualified in Pilates Matwork level 3 and also have a National Qualification in Small Equipment and Special Population, which covers pregnancy, post-natal, older adult and medical conditions such as diabetes and arthritis.

Beginners Classes - These classes are designed for the complete beginner, if you have any joint or back issues or if you do not feel confident with body strength. A beginner class can help with posture, strengthening your muscles and relieve discomfort.

Intermediate Level Classes - These classes are for the person who has been doing pilates for 1-2 courses, have improved in strength and fitness and would like to push themselves to the next level.  There should be no major back issues.

Strength & Tone - This 45 mins class will have you working your body using Pilates moves to disco, slightly faster than normal music. It will have you sweating and reaching for the water. Its a great way to start the weekend. I like to call it Pilates on Speed!!!

Buff Bones ClassThe award-winning, medically-endorsed Buff Bones® workout for bone and joint health is now available in Drogheda. The exercise system uses varied and specific bone-strengthening and balance techniques for a safe option for people with osteoporosis and arthritis. Former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona, M.D. recommended the workout, calling it “an excellent resource to continue to improve America’s bone health.”

Where am I based?

My studio is a calm and peaceful space where you can switch off for an hour and work on your body alignment and awareness. Northeast Pilates Studio is situated in the Donore Industrial Park, Donore Road, Drogheda, Co Louth. This is a bright new space located on the South side of Drogheda, to find me, as you are travelling out of the town, take the first left after the Maxol Garage on the Donore Road and I am in the second unit on the right.
